RELATIONSHIP POWER

Okay, so I took a break for a while from the writing lab and now I’m back to once again challenge your mind as well as give your eyes a sight to read. We all walk our path through life searching for direction and wondering if we are taking the proper course. Many of us engage in several relationships through the course of our life, some of them we call friends and others are on a more personal level and possible could be…. well you know that one.

Many of us encounter a time in life where we begin to become perplexed by the challenge of imagining being with just one person the rest of our lives. We have trust issues with those we become involved with, as well as we have issues becoming one together with an individual. Where do these problems stem from? Why are we so caught up in the negative things that can take place in a relationship, like getting hurt for the several reasons that are out there? The sad part is when the negative things take place we act all surprised as if we were not already thinking the worse anyway. Let me back up we don’t only think the worst we speak the worst. Women all on the phone with their so called friends being encouraged to go out with the other man, or more then likely talking about how he does not do this or do that. Men I have not forgotten us, I’m guilty myself and the bad part is once again the power is in the tongue. We sit and praise one another for sleeping with multiple women as if that is the thing to do, and then we turn around and act like we are sinning for making a commitment to one woman. Don’t we all have it backwards guys?

There is no one commandment greater than to love. So I ask you all are you ready for the challenge this year. The challenge to be really committed to someone you love. I challenge you to love deeper then you ever loved before. Pray and have trust in the lord to keep your relationship pure. Finally I challenge you all to rid your relationship of the negative thoughts that persuade you to do negative things and purify your tongue of the negative lashing you speak into the atmosphere for not only yourself but your friends as well. If you’re ready to take the relationship challenge you don’t have to tell anyone but yourself and pray to God to help you.
